Does the CFOS need Volunteers?

Active members are the key to CFOS.  Beginning orchid enthusiasts and new members can quickly become active members. Pronouncing the Latin names of orchids is not a requirement for volunteering.

CFOS has many Committees defined in the Constitution and By Laws. Each committee needs a chair and members.

Volunteer tasks range from making a few phone calls, baking cookies for a meeting or greeting visitors at a show, to running the silent auction, website design, newsletter layout, membership tracking, librarian, traveling to other orchid society shows and helping to install displays sponsored by our group, running the raffle & door prizes, organizing the refreshments, or even becoming a member of our own Show Committee, to organize our large Spring and Fall Orchid Shows.
