Curtis Jenney of "Leaves by Jenney"

"Leaves by Jenney" donated the beautiful leaf fountain that was installed in our Miami Show Display. Here, Curtis is installing the support structure for the fountain.

Bob Clifford & Frank Dasse were among the hard workers who installed the large palm trees, and other background greenery for the display on Tuesday. Other workers included: Doug Sinning, Lois & Simone.

Curtis brought in his portable electric generator to test the water pump.

What a Mess! :)

It works!

After hours of waiting, they finally turned on the electricity on Tuesday for testing, and our fountain and background lighting came on!

Color!

Phals are placed in the background in a color flow. Going from pure white on the right to white & purple on the left.

Height & Layering

Creating different heights & layers in a display gives dimension and utilizes artistic design concepts. Here, crates are used to create different heights & dimension.

Meanwhile, Bob & Doug work on installing the Reds and Purples on the left side of the display. Simone is in the background typing away on a label machine creating the display name tags for both sides! On Wednesday we were joined by Jackie & Jamie Lawson.

After 2 days of hard work, we stood back and smiled.

I can't believe we did all of this in just 2 days!

The Name....

After brainstorming for days... our display name was finally decided upon... "Orchideaquaria" Orchidea Aqua Aria (Orchid Water Song) We love it...

2nd Place!

... And so did the Judges! CFOS placed 2nd at the 2004 Miami International Show
